Project selection / 01–03
Systems work, from first structure to long-term stewardship.
These projects show how I connect design decisions, accessible implementation, content structure, and the ongoing work of keeping a platform useful.
All three case studies are available now.

Gutenfig
Designing a bridge between Figma and WordPress.
A reusable Figma library and custom plugin carry approved page structure into native, editable Gutenberg blocks.
Problem
Approved layouts still had to be manually reconstructed between Figma and WordPress.
Contribution
I defined the component system, designed the workflow, and created the code-assisted plugin.
Systems relevance
Design and production share a structural language while WordPress remains the editable source of publication.

One Cleveland
Building a civic identity into a multi-channel publishing system.
A related civic identity grew into a campaign system spanning a microsite, email, social media, video, and recurring editorial profiles.
Problem
Connected civic initiatives needed distinct identities and a durable language across changing stories and channels.
Contribution
I helped develop the identity, built the microsite, created reusable templates, and supported the recurring publishing workflow.
Systems relevance
The framework supports changing content, channels, collaborators, and deadlines without losing its public character.
03 / Case study available
CPL.org
Stewarding and extending a live civic platform after its agency-led relaunch.
I did not lead or build the original redesign. My role is the long-term system work that helps CPL.org absorb new campaigns, services, media, and public information.
Problem
A growing public website needed to accommodate new work without returning to disconnected pages and one-off solutions.
Contribution
I maintain and extend the platform through Figma and Gutenberg patterns, landing pages, initiative sections, content tools, and front-end cleanup.
Systems relevance
Reusable structures and a visible workflow help a small team keep a content-heavy civic platform more coherent and maintainable.
